Clinical Experience
I have been a consultant anaesthetist at Barnet Hospital since June 2003 with a specialist interest in Day Surgery, difficult airway management, and obstetrics. My NHS sessions include obstetrics, gynaecology, orthopaedics, vascular and ophthalmology. I am on the general on call rota, which is 1:16 covering main theatres and obstetrics.
Privately, I have practicing privileges at numerous London hospitals anaesthetizing for a variety of specialties including plastics, orthopaedics, gynae, vascular, general, max-fax, ENT, bariatrics and ophthalmology. I also regularly do conscious sedation for chronic pain procedures.

I have helped to establish a variety of private theatres within the London area
by advising them on setting up theatres and operating services. This includes Hadley Wood Hospital, Nuada, MYA and The Private Clinic.

I have an interest in airway management and pre-assessment, both of which I have led in and previously taught at Barnet as well as delivering a modern, total intravenous form of anaesthetics when required.
